The EVO Cut’it!® automated in-line packing machine reduces voids in parcels before shipping, cutting down on shipping costs. It automatically shortens cartons to match their highest point of filling, and then glues a lid securely in place.
Products are first placed into a standard carton with a standardized footprint size. The EVO Cut’it! machine detects the maximum height taken up by the carton’s contents, and cuts the edges of the carton automatically, removing excess material to ensure a good match and creating flaps at the top. It folds the flaps over the products ready for shipping, and finally applies and glues a lid onto the folded flaps. The machine is controlled via a user-friendly touchscreen, and a long ergonomic walk-in magazine can be filled without pausing the machine. A capacity of 900 boxes per hour, and simple adjustments for changing requirements, make EVO Cut’it! an outstanding resource for high-throughput lines.
